Bleached Kraft
Providing the highest quality pulp, at the lowest cost, is the goal of all fiber lines.
Box Board needs pulp with the following characteristics:
- Strong
- Good refineability
- Consistent chemistry
- Free of dirt
- Target brightness
Providing these characteristics, at the lowest cost, is particularly challenging in the process of making fiber from wood chips. Varying chip quality, massive digesters and ongoing chemical processes of delignification and bleaching all contribute to the pulp quality the fiber line presents to the machines.
